Federal Construction · Infrastructure · Facilities

Built for the
work of the nation.

Ironwood Group is a federal contractor delivering construction, facilities, and infrastructure work for U.S. government agencies — founded by people with more than eight years inside the federal program office.

§ 01 — Mandate

We do federal work the way federal work should be done — with the rigor, the paperwork, and the people to back every line of the spec.

Disciplined

FAR & DFARS-aware estimating, scheduling, and submittals — built in from day one, not bolted on after award.

Program-Trained

Our leadership came up through the federal program office. We know what the contracting officer needs before they ask.

Accountable

Clear cost reporting, honest schedules, and a single point of accountability from kickoff through closeout.

§ 02 — Capabilities

Six practices.
One standard.

04

05

06

Rapid-mobilization recovery, debris management, and temporary facilities work.

§ 03 — Approach

How we run a job.

  1. 01

    Understand the mission

We start with the customer's mission — not the scope of work. The scope serves the mission, never the other way around.

  2. 02

    Plan honestly

Realistic schedules, defensible estimates, and a clear definition of done. No optimistic pricing to win, then change orders to recover.

  3. 03

    Execute with discipline

Documented work, on-site leadership, and a single point of accountability from kickoff through warranty closeout.

  4. 04

    Leave it better

Clean closeout files, transferable O&M documentation, and a customer who would award us the next one.

§ 04 — Doctrine

We were built by people who came up through the federal program office. We know what the contracting officer needs before they ask, and we know what the customer on the receiving end is counting on.
