§ About
A federal contractor built by program-office people.
Ironwood Group was founded on more than eight years of experience inside the federal market. We started the company we wished we'd had on the other side of the table.

§ Origin
We do not chase headlines. We chase clean closeouts.
Federal work rewards a particular kind of discipline. The cost accounting has to be clean. The submittals have to be on time. The people on the site have to be the people on the badge list.
We built Ironwood to do that work the way it should be done — with the rigor of a program office and the responsiveness of a contractor who genuinely understands what the government is buying.
We're early in our life as a company, and that's a deliberate advantage: a flat team, senior people on every job, and the discipline to take on only the work we can deliver to standard.
§ Principles
Four ideas we won't compromise.
Mission first
Every schedule, RFI, and submittal is measured against the customer's mission — not against our convenience.
Documented work
If it isn't in writing, it didn't happen. We over-document because federal accountability demands it.
Cleared, credentialed
Our project leadership is cleared and credentialed before they ever step on a federal site.
Honest delivery
Realistic estimates, defensible schedules, and a clear definition of done. No optimistic pricing to win, then change orders to recover.
